Aan de hand van drie thema's; beschermen, bevorderen en kwetsbaarheid zijn er een heel aantal indicatoren verzameld en uiteindelijk naar het ruimtelijke schaalniveau van CBS-buurten vertaald. De peildatum van dit project was 2022 en daarom is de CBS buurtindeling van 2022 als basis gebruikt. Ook de meeste databronnen die gebruikt zijn voor de berekening van indicatoren zijn in 2022 gepubliceerd. Door de waardes van de verschillende indicatoren bij elkaar op te tellen, zijn er per thema zogeheten 'stapelkaarten' gemaakt. Deze stapelkaarten zijn vervolgens vertaald naar 'HotSpot kaarten' om te zien welke buurten in Noord-Holland Noord (significant) afweken van de gemiddelden. In de laatste fase van het onderzoek, zijn de HotSpot kaarten van de verschillende thema's over elkaar heen gelegd om tot een zogeheten 'vlekkenkaart' te komen. Deze vlekkenkaart laat zien waar de thema's elkaar raken en waar het relatief beter en slechter gaat op het gebied van de gezonde leefomgeving in Noord-Holland Noord.", "geometryType":
